ABOUT US
The Daltas Group LLC was founded on the principle that indigenous farmers should be paid a fair market rate for their product, especially when that product comes from an area of the world which produces some of the most exceptional food available in the global marketplace.
Working exclusively with Daltas Enterprises, The Daltas Group LLC imports and sells dried fruits and nuts grown in the Karakoram mountain range in northern Pakistan, within a region known as Gilgit-Baltistan.
The soil in this region is irrigated naturally using glacier melt water which is brought into the fields through Roman-era style water channels carved into the sides of the mountains. These fruits and nuts are grown and harvested by hand by women farmers who have worked this land for centuries.
When you eat our food, you immediately taste the difference in quality and flavor from food produced commercially elsewhere using modern industrial methods. We know you will love our food and you'll be supporting indigenous farmers, too!
